Ashley is a business attorney in the Baton Rouge office. Ashley joined the firm in 2008 as a financial analyst until she completed law school and became a practicing attorney in 2012.

Ashley has experience representing small to mid-sized businesses in areas of business formation, organization and capitalization, including assisting in planning and diagramming organization and drafting organizational documents.

Ashley also represents clients in commercial loan and real estate transactions including negotiating, drafting and reviewing loan documents, acting as closing attorney and acting as borrower’s counsel on Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities loans. She has experience in the area of mergers and acquisitions where she drafts documents and has worked on extensive due diligence for potential company acquisitions. Ashley also negotiates and prepares leases for commercial, residential and retail facilities.

Ashley is heavily involved in the financial side of business consulting and commercial loan and real estate transactions, including assisting in valuing companies for loans and mergers and acquisitions, as well as work in the underwriting process of commercial loan transactions, including complex Commercial Mortgage Backed Security loans. She assists clients in reviewing and analyzing financial statements, preparing budgets, reviewing and preparing loan reporting requirements and compliance. Ashley also prepares company qualifications packages for financing of loans and bonds.

In Baton Rouge business disputes, Ashley provides local support to the litigation section, including litigation in contract, construction, and securities law matters as well as leading claims in the Deepwater Horizon Economic Settlement.
